c. 1553. A Treasurer's Roll, consisting of twelve sheets of paper and a fragment, sewn together in the same way as the membranes in a parchment roll, and having as a watermark a glove and star. The roll is imperfect at the top, and has never contained any account of expenses. The rents of each place are entered in a lump sum. The places are the same as in the Bursars' rolls, but differently arranged. The first series ends thus:—
